Warm Up 3/21

The most important news story I heard during spring break was about a shooting. Three kids got shot and one died at the hospital. The shooting happened at this party that was trying to be like "Project X" the movie. I found about this over facebook; a friend of mine posted a video from a news website onto his wall for people to watch. It captured my attention because I had heard of people in my classes that went, so I realized that it could have been anyone that got shot.

This is a video that will inform you on how to request to see your dean. It is a simple four step process.

Warm Up 2/27/12

Ergonomics is the science of designing user interaction with equipment and workplaces to fit the user. In other words, it is designing equipment that works for the user appropriately like a chair with support for the back. We need to be concerned with ergonomics when using a computer because it is to create greater productivity and keep you injury-free.

Warm Up 2/6/12

Sound is important in our lives because it is what helps us to communicate with the rest of the world. It helps you to hear people's personalities as well. ( sarcasm, attitude, and exaggeration) Powerpoints could benefit from sound so that as pictures are going by you could do a recording explaining them. Then, you wouldn't have to read small texts and look at pictures in such a short amount of time. If I could listen to anything in the world, I would listen to something calming and soothing like a waterfall.

Warm Up 1/31/12

If I could go anywhere in the world on vacation, I would go back to Kauai, Hawaii. I've been to pretty much all other places I would want to go to. Kauai was my favorite vacation spot because the beaches are so pretty and it is so relaxing there. The locals are so friendly to tourists. And, there is a ton of fun things to do like surf, sail, lay out at the beach, helicopter rides, parasail, and all sorts of other things. I am actually going in July this summer.
